Regional Operations Manager - North West

Lead Growth. Inspire Teams. Shape the Future of Community Pharmacy.

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Regional Operations Manager to lead our North West region, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence and outstanding patient care across a large and diverse pharmacy network.

Managing approximately 125 pharmacies and leading a team of 8-9 Area Managers, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our strategic objectives by growing market share, increasing service participation, expanding OTC revenue through Complete Care, and developing high-performing teams that put patients at the heart of everything they do.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced multi-site leader who thrives on delivering results through others, embraces change and is passionate about making a difference in local communities.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Regional Manager, you will have full accountability for the performance of your region, ensuring the successful delivery of commercial, operational and people objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving market share growth across the North West region.
  • Increasing service participation and healthcare service delivery.
  • Growing OTC sales and maximising revenue opportunities through Complete Care.
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of 8-9 Area Managers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Creating clarity, focus and accountability across 125 pharmacies.
  • Using insight, data and performance measures to identify opportunities and drive profitable growth.
  • Delivering regional financial targets, budgets and operational KPIs.
  • Building a high-performance culture focused on engagement, development and succession planning.
  • Ensuring excellent retail standards, operational compliance and patient safety across the region.
  • Acting as a key ambassador for the business, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting and delivering strategic business initiatives that enhance customer, colleague and commercial outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering results in a complex multi-site environment.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience driving sales and profit growth.
  • Exceptional people leadership and coaching capability.
  • The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience leading change and improving business performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience within pharmacy, healthcare, retail or another customer-focused multi-site environment would be advantageous.
