• Provide strong operational leadership across multiple services, ensuring consistently high standards of care and support.
• Lead, coach, and mentor Service Managers, helping them develop their leadership skills and deliver against agreed objectives and KPIs.
• Maintain oversight of CQC compliance, governance, quality, and risk management, ensuring robust systems are embedded across the region.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of clinical pathways, resident suitability, and risk management.
• Monitor and improve operational performance, including staffing, recruitment, deployment, financial control, and resource management.
• Drive performance against clinical, regulatory, operational, and commercial targets.
• Work collaboratively with Business Development to support occupancy and income growth, including involvement in referral screening and placement decisions.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, housing partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and direction when managing significant incidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up and learning.
• Work closely with HR on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational change.
• Ensure staff have the training, skills, and support required to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred services.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead change across the region.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Senior Management Team on strategic and business-critical projects.
• Participate in the senior management on-call rota, providing advice and support when required.

What We're Looking For

• A strong track record of senior leadership and operational management.
• Experience working within a regulated health or social care environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and governance.
• Experience managing multiple services or sites.
• The ability to manage budgets, control costs, and understand the commercial drivers of a region.
• A proven ability to deliver against KPIs and business objectives.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
