Role Description
The Regional Operations Manager is a full-time, field-based role in the south of England. This role oversees the delivery of facilities services across a defined region, ensuring service excellence, adherence to contractual obligations, and alignment with OCS standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing regional operations teams, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements. The Regional Operations Manager will manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role also involves building strong relationships with customers, leading local teams, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement Smart FM solutions and drive best practice across sites.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in regional or multi-site operations management, preferably within facilities management or related service industries.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to facilities and building services.
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and handle escalations professionally.
- Competence in using digital tools, data, and reporting systems to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to colleagues and customers.
- Experience working in hybrid environments and coordinating on-site and remote teams.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in facilities management, operations management, or a related discipline are advantageous.
