Company Description

Because your perspective shapes trends.

Innovate, your way.

Merchandising at Primark

Our merchandising team turn strategic goals into vast opportunities. Here, your insights will maximize our growth as a business and ensure we continue to stay at the forefront in the world of retail fashion.

Role Overview

As a Regional Planner, you will lead the product range strategy across our Iberia store portfolio, ensuring ranges reflect local customer needs and market trends. Partnering with Buying, Merchandising, and Design teams, you will use data-driven insights to influence product decisions and optimize performance. You will identify growth opportunities, support trading decisions, and help maximize profitability across the region. This highly collaborative role requires regular onsite presence in Arthur Ryan House and occasional travel to Spain and Portugal.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver Iberia-specific product ranges, using market, customer, climate, and location insights to shape store, category, and country-level plans.
  • Lead grading, option planning, and sizing analysis, providing clear recommendations to Buying, Merchandising, and Design teams.
  • Monitor sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize range profitability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Space Planning, Retail, and Product, to ensure the right products are ranged in the right stores with the right space allocation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the business, delivering insight-led reports and presentations that influence product direction, investment decisions, and trading actions.
  • Drive alignment between global product strategy and Iberia commercial priorities, ensuring local customer needs are reflected across seasonal, promotional, and capsule ranges.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
