What you’ll be doing:
As a Regional Planner, you’ll work closely with the Senior Planner and cross-functional teams to ensure your division is always one step ahead. You’ll design and manage planning strategies that keep operations running smoothly, whether it’s daily deliveries, weekend coverage, or peak seasonal demand. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your decisions directly influence efficiency, service quality, and courier success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive planning coverage file for your division
- Forecast parcel volumes using data and trends to anticipate demand
- Coordinate courier availability, including holiday and peak season planning
- Collaborate with central planning, operations, and resource teams
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
- Create contingency plans to manage unexpected volume spikes

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in workforce planning or resource management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally
- Excellent attention to detail with a logical mindset
