The Role

The Regional Project Manager is a pure orchestration role at the heart of this account within the region. With all work delivered globally, the role is not about executing the work itself—it is about orchestrating the flow of work between local and regional teams and the central WPP Global team, applying disciplined governance, ensuring consistent ways of working, and championing the local/regional insight agenda.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Operating alongside the Regional Lead, you will serve as one of the primary "front doors" for regional and local teams into the WPP Global team—channeling local requirements into the integrated model. Working hand-in-hand with Regional Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) across Production, CXM, and Data, you will focus squarely on getting regional work delivered within our platform-led operating model.

This role is foundational to keeping our output-based model running smoothly at pace—routing regional demand into the central delivery engine, providing structure and visibility for complex programmes, and harnessing WPP Open and agentic workflows for scaled, automated execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance & Orchestration: Own and run end-to-end orchestration and governance for the region, establishing clear cadences, rituals, and ways of working connecting local and regional teams with the global delivery engine.
  • Regional Front Door: Partner with the Regional Lead and SPOCs (Production, CXM, Data) to channel local and regional work effectively into the global model.
  • Insight Agenda Champion: Capture local market needs and feed them into the global team so regional relevance and nuance are built into every output.
  • Demand & Workflow Management: Run the regional briefing and demand process end-to-end, ensuring requests are raised, validated, prioritised, and tracked through workflow tools (e.g., Workfront, JIRA, WPP Open) against agreed SLAs.
  • Capacity & Demand Balancing: Manage regional demand across rapid-turnaround requests and strategic builds, ensuring local peaks are smoothly absorbed by central delivery teams.
  • Risk & Issue Resolution: Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, maintaining clear escalation pathways to keep delivery moving forward.
  • Reporting & Visibility: Establish a single, trusted view of regional status, providing accurate, real-time reporting to leadership and full transparency to local markets on production status against SLAs.
  • Scope & Change Control: Oversee scope and change management within the region, maintaining disciplined control over deliverables and timelines.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously improve regional operations, standardising tooling and driving adoption of WPP Open and agentic workflows to increase speed, automation, and scale.

  • Cross-Agency Coordination: Proven track record aligning and orchestrating multi-agency, multi-disciplinary teams in matrixed, international environments.
  • Demand & Workflow Tool Expertise: Hands-on command of end-to-end briefing and demand processes using enterprise management tools (e.g., Workfront, JIRA, WPP Open).
  • Local & Regional Insight: Deep understanding of local market needs with the business acumen to ensure work is globally consistent yet locally adapted and relevant.
  • Operational Rigour: Highly structured, detail-oriented approach with an unwavering commitment to process consistency, governance, and shared standards.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Outstanding communication skills with the confidence to manage expectations, influence stakeholders across all levels, and provide transparent reporting.

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week.
