Artis Recruitment are supporting a fast-growing lifestyle business as they continue to build and expand their retail presence across the UK.
This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Retail Manager / Senior Retail Manager to join the business at an early stage of its retail growth.
With further retail locations planned, this role will play a key part in helping to establish and scale the retail operation. You'll have the opportunity to shape how stores operate, support new store openings, develop teams and drive commercial performance across the estate.
This isn't simply a role focused on keeping existing stores running. It's an opportunity to join a growing business while its retail function is still in its infancy and have a genuine influence over how the estate develops.
What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day performance and operations across a growing portfolio of stores.
- Driving commercial performance across sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, footfall and payroll.
- Managing and monitoring retail budgets and P&L performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of new store openings, from operational setup through to launch.
- Establishing consistent processes, standards and ways of working as the retail estate grows.
- Leading, developing and supporting Store Managers and wider retail teams.
- Creating a high-performance culture focused on customer experience, accountability and commercial results.
- Working closely with Finance, Marketing, Product, Operations and People to ensure the retail estate is aligned with the wider business.
- Using trading performance and customer insight to identify opportunities and make commercially sound decisions.
- Being the senior point of support for the retail teams, while also being happy to get stuck into the detail when needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
