Regional Sales & Business Development Intern

V2Power | Paid Internship

Location: Hybrid – Remote and regional travel
Working hours: Flexible
Duration: Initial 3–6 months, with potential extension or future full-time opportunities for strong performers
Pay: Hourly rate

V2Power is looking for a proactive and outgoing recent graduate to support a Regional Business Development Manager with customer development and regional sales activities.

This is a hands-on, field-based commercial role for someone who is hardworking, confident speaking with customers, and willing to take initiative to make things happen. A technical background is not required. Product and sales training will be provided so that you can explain V2Power’s solutions to customers in clear, practical, and non-technical language.

About V2Power

V2Power operates in the EV charging and energy solutions sector, supporting businesses, property owners, local authorities and industry partners in the transition to sustainable transport and energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and business opportunities within the assigned region
  • Approach prospective customers through telephone, email, LinkedIn and in-person visits
  • Travel within the region to visit businesses, develop contacts and generate new leads
  • Conduct proactive prospecting and cold outreach where appropriate
  • Follow up leads and help progress sales opportunities
  • Support the Regional Business Development Manager with customer relationships and regional sales activities
  • Explain V2Power’s products and customer benefits clearly
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up actions
  • Attend customer meetings and industry events
  • Take initiative to resolve issues and keep opportunities moving forward

You should be:

  • Organised and consistent with follow-up

Training and Development

You will receive product, industry and practical sales training, together with guidance and regular feedback from your line manager.

Working Arrangements

Working hours are flexible and will be agreed with the managers based on business needs and availability.
