Regional Sales Centre Parts Advisor – Coventry
Competitive salary + commission scheme dependant on achieving part sales & profit targets.
Hrs: Rotating weekly – 0800hrs to 1630hrs/0830hrs to 1700hrs
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Parts Advisor to join our Regional Sales Centre South & East team and play a key role in driving aftersales sales growth across the dealer region.
Working as part of a dynamic internal sales team, you will help maintain our strong performance in parts sales while actively driving the conversion of parts opportunities into back counter fitted sales.
This is a commercially focused role where customer service, product knowledge and proactive sales activity are essential. You will work closely with dealerships and regional parts teams to ensure customers receive an accurate, consistent and professional parts sales and delivery service.
About you
We are looking for a commercially minded and sales driven individual who enjoys building relationships and identifying opportunities to grow business.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within parts sales, automotive, commercial vehicles or the transport industry.
- Sound knowledge of truck, bus, coach and trailer parts.
- An understanding of the transport industry and competitor landscape.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong marketing and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and approachable personality.
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A flexible approach to changing workloads and priorities.

About the role
As a Regional Sales Centre Parts Advisor, you will:
- Proactively upsell and cross sell genuine Volvo parts and All Makes products.
- Promote ongoing parts and labour campaigns across truck, bus and coach products.
- Manage inbound telephone, email and other customer communications for all dealerships within the region.
- Identify sales opportunities and maximise parts turnover and profitability.
- Maintain accurate lost sales reporting and pipeline management.
- Liaise with regional parts teams daily to confirm delivery availability, opening hours, capacity and customer requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with dealerships, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support proactive promotional activity to increase parts and labour sales.
- Help identify opportunities to convert parts sales into back-counter fitted sales.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Volvo Group UK standards for health, safety, quality and environmental care.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by your manager.
