Regional Sales Director – Europe / UK

Location: UK or EU — UK preferred

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Type: Individual Contributor / New Logo Hunter

About the Position

We are seeking a highly driven Regional Sales Director to lead new business development across the UK and European financial services market. This is a true hunter role, focused primarily on identifying, engaging, and closing new logo opportunities within banks, brokerages, payments companies, fintechs, and other financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in selling Financial Crime, Fraud, AML, Digital Trust, Identity, Risk, AI, or related technology and advisory solutions, combined with a proven track record of B2B software and/or professional services sales.

You will be expected to create opportunities through proactive outbound activity, establish relationships with senior decision-makers, develop complex enterprise opportunities, and manage the sales cycle through to close. The successful candidate will be comfortable selling to C-level executives and senior business, risk, compliance, fraud, security, digital, and technology leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive new-logo sales across the UK and selected European markets
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on banks, brokers, payment providers, fintechs, and other financial institutions
  • Proactively identify and target high-value prospects through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and industry relationships
  • Build relationships with C-suite and senior executives, including CEOs, CROs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Fraud Officers, and Heads of Financial Crime
  • Generate, qualify, develop, and close complex enterprise sales opportunities
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution positioning, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Sell technology, software, platforms, advisory, and professional services addressing challenges in:
    • Financial Crime
    • Fraud Prevention and Detection
    • AML / KYC
    • Digital Trust
    • Identity and Authentication
    • Risk Management
    • AI and Machine Learning
    • Transaction Monitoring
    • Cyber / Digital Security
  • Develop compelling business cases and demonstrate measurable business value to prospective customers
  • Work closely with solution architects, product, delivery, marketing, and executive leadership teams to develop and close strategic opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong enterprise pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Represent the company at financial services conferences, industry events, executive meetings, and customer forums
  • Develop a strong understanding of regulatory, fraud, financial crime, digital transformation, and AI trends impacting financial institutions
  • Establish the company as a trusted strategic partner rather than simply a technology vendor

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
