Regional Sales Director (UK/Continental Europe)

Department: Commercial

Location: Witney, Oxford UK (Hybrid)

The Business

Oxford Flow was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from The University of Oxford and produces some of the most precise and accurate flow control valves in the world. We are an engineering-led technology company which has revolutionized valve design with our range of Zero emissions control valves and regulators; these products will transform global fugitive emissions in industries such as oil & gas, gas transmission & distribution, and other process industries.

The addressable market for Oxford Flow’s innovative technology is a £5bn sector of the global £70bn valve and actuator market.

The company has recently secured £20m investment from two major strategic organizations to accelerate its growth plans and we are seeking talented individuals to be part of the exciting journey to follow.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you are responsible for overseeing sales operations and driving growth in the UK and Continental European markets.

You will develop and execute regional sales strategies, manage a high-performing sales team, build strong customer relationships, and expand market share across the UK and Continental Europe regions.

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong combination of sales acumen, regional market knowledge, and strategic vision to drive success in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy for the region, including markets and route to market strategy across UK and Continental Europe.
  • Build, lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance, target achievement, and professional development.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand the company's presence in the region, and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Drive market penetration and brand awareness through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships, seeking new distribution partners.
  • Provide detailed reporting to senior management on sales performance, pipeline, forecasting, market dynamics, competitor intelligence, market pricing, and other factors as requested.
  • Utilise sales processes and tools such as Salesforce to manage client contacts, and to maintain visibility into the sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners. Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to meet order intake and sales revenue targets, increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients in line with company guidelines.
  • Manage the regional sales budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest priority initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
