We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Regional Sales Executive to partner closely with one of our successful Area Sales Managers, helping to grow business across our full portfolio of security products. This isn't a role where you'll be starting from scratch. You'll inherit a well-established customer base with existing spend, giving you the perfect platform to build strong relationships, maximise opportunities and drive revenue growth.

From nurturing new customers and developing key accounts, to re-engaging dormant clients and uncovering fresh opportunities, no two days will be the same. If you love building relationships, spotting potential and turning conversations into sales success, keep reading and apply!

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & Growth

  • Consistently achieve individual monthly sales targets and contribute to wider team objectives.
  • Meet and exceed individual and shared KPIs in line with business priorities and commercial goals.
  • Proactively develop and expand the customer base through engagement with new, existing, lapsed and prospective customers.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, maximising customer value, margin and revenue growth.
  • Monitor sales trends, customer purchasing patterns and regional activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Customer Engagement & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with trade customers across the assigned region.
  • Deliver a professional, confident and helpful customer experience through telephone and email communication.
  • Provide accurate pricing, stock availability, product information and tailored recommendations to support customer buying decisions.
  • Proactively communicate with customers throughout the order process, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage customer queries, complaints and issues professionally, seeking effective resolutions and escalating where appropriate.

External Sales & Internal Collaboration

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the external sales representative to ensure the geographical area is targeted efficiently.
  • Provide day-to-day sales and administrative support to the external sales team to ensure seamless customer service and sales operations.
  • Share relevant customer insight, sales opportunities and market feedback with the external sales team and wider business.
  • Work alongside internal Brand Managers and Business Development Managers to promote the product portfolio effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient fulfilment of customer orders.

Quotations, Orders & Administration

  • Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers in a timely and commercially focused manner.
  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately using Sage 200 and other internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, customer notes, sales activity, pipeline information and order updates.
  • Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and compliance with company processes.

Key Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Proven sales expertise in a telephone-based, internal sales or face-to-face sales environment.
  • Strong account management and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skilled in complaint resolution and customer issue management.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Ability to perform effectively and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving results.
