Ready to Play a Critical Role at the Inflection Point of a Venture-Backed Cybersecurity Startup?
Join Avertro, a high-growth venture-backed cybersecurity startup building a platform that empowers security leaders to manage cyber risk with confidence.
We're looking for a driven Regional Sales Executive who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows what it takes to succeed in a software scale up. This isn't just another sales job, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our presence in your region and accelerating our next stage of growth.
We’re solving one of the industry’s biggest challenges. While cybersecurity is often managed as a fragmented technical activity, we're empowering leaders to treat it as a strategic business function by turning technical signals into quantifiable intelligence for decision-makers. You'll be selling into a world where Cyber Resilience is the defining imperative for business value and digital confidence. If you're looking for autonomy to own your territory and pipeline, a collaborative environment, and the chance to help shape the company's strategic direction, this could be your next big move.
The Opportunity
You will report to the CRO and work with the broader GTM team. There is marketing support, but this is a role that demands initiative. You must be proactive in building and advancing pipeline, shaping opportunities, and helping define our presence in the region. You’ll join us at a critical growth stage, where our platform is live with enterprise customers and focusing on scaling all aspects of our business.
AI is now embedded in how every business operates, and security teams are struggling to keep up. Employees are using ChatGPT, Copilot, and dozens of other AI tools daily, often without oversight, and sensitive data is flowing into them in ways most organisations can’t see or control. This is one of the fastest-growing concerns for CISOs and business leaders right now. As an Account Executive, you’ll be at the centre of helping organisations get this under control, selling into a market that already knows it has a problem and is actively looking for someone to guide them through it, which makes for genuinely urgent, high-intent conversations rather than a hard sell.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
