We are a talented team of technologists, creatives, marketers, sales experts, and customer advocates who spend each day pushing the boundaries of technology to make buying, selling, and renting boats easy. Every day, we work with a global inventory of more than 500,000 boats.
Our Barcelona office is home to Boats Group's European team, creating a dynamic and international workplace where technology, marketplaces, and collaboration come together.
As part of our continued growth, we are strengthening our Key Account Management team and looking for a Key Account Manager to join us in Barcelona or the UK.
🌊 Your Role
As a Regional Sales Executive for Rest of World, you will own the full sales cycle:
- Prospecting, pitching, and closing, selling marketing memberships, SaaS subscriptions, and digital advertising to yacht dealers and brokers across your territory.
- Hunting and closing new accounts will be the core of the role, alongside driving expansion revenue post-close through contract renewals and upselling of value-added services to existing clients.
- You will combine strong prospecting and deal-closing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- You will join a collaborative team working closely with Sales, Product, and our US counterparts to drive new business and growth across our ROW markets.

- Own the full sales cycle, prospecting, pitching, and closing, selling marketing memberships, SaaS subscriptions, and digital advertising to a diverse range of clients across Rest of World markets, including senior management and key decision-makers.
- Build a strong pipeline and consistently exceed new business acquisition targets, converting prospects into signed accounts across an international territory.
💰 Upselling & Renewals
- Drive expansion revenue post-close through contract renewals and upselling of value-added services to existing clients, alongside your hunting activity; exercise sound judgment and push back appropriately to ensure a positive customer experience is maintained.
🎓 Consultative Selling
- Lead consultative sales conversations on lead generation, brand visibility, and digital marketing strategy to win client buy-in and close larger deals.
- Understand, distill, and communicate complex technical concepts and products to customers.
📈 Growth
- Achieve and exceed new business and growth targets through clear goal-achievement plans.
🗂️ Operations & Documentation
- Process all client requests and changes quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in Salesforce.
🎯 What You Should Have
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a strong demonstrated track record of hunting/new business development in at least one previous role, ideally SaaS-related.
- Ideally some experience managing a book of business.
- Strong marketplace experience (cars, food delivery, real estate) or strong boating industry experience and connections.
- Based in Barcelona or UK.
- Strong English.
- Proven presentation, training, project management, collaboration, and negotiation skills; ability to coordinate activity across different internal reporting structures and departments.
- Innovative thinking with exceptional business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of autonomy and self-motivation with the ability to perform independently, competitive drive to win new business.
