Job Description

Thirsty for a change? CPM have a great opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team representing Suntory and their great portfolio of products which includes Celsius, Lucozade and Ribena! £45k per annum, up to 10% bonus, company car, tablet and mobile phone.

Ideal Location: Preston, United Kingdom, PR1

Territory covering: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington, Manchester, Stockport, Oldham, Leeds, Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesborough and surrounding areas

Join CPM as a Regional Sales Manager and make your mark on a new team of Territory Development Executives Representing Lucozade Ribena Suntory!

As a Regional Sales Manager at CPM, you’ll inspire, develop, and lead a new team of up to 12 Territory Development Executives who call on independent retailers, convenience stores, small-format grocery outlets, and foodservice customers. Together, you’ll represent the iconic Lucozade Ribena Suntory portfolio driving sales, visibility, and brand passion across your region.

In this role, you’ll set the vision, strategy, and energy for your team ensuring they’re trained, motivated, and equipped to perform at their best every day. You’ll take ownership of regional sales performance, delivering against ambitious targets across multiple channels and empowering your team to seize every selling opportunity.

Your commercial insight and leadership will play a key role in managing budgets, controlling costs, and providing valuable business intelligence to support senior management. Above all, you’ll be the driving force behind a culture of excellence ensuring we not only meet but exceed expectations for our client and retail partners.

A day in the life of a Regional Sales Manager will include:

  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in a fast paced, multichannel environment, seamlessly shifting priorities to meet evolving business and customer needs.
  • Talent programme – responsible for working with our in-house recruitment team, taking responsibility for regional recruitment, minimizing churn and providing training, developing and nurturing the team to be their very best.
  • Team management – including performance management.
  • Provide senior management support to the National Sales manager.
  • Delivering against key sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Plan and organize regional meetings and cascade communications to the team.
  • Analyse data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and underlying trends.

Essential requirements of a Regional Sales Manager:

  • Previous experience in managing a sales team, ideally at area level.
  • An understanding of retail / FMCG preferred.
  • A Full UK driving licence. Happy to drive a manual vehicle
