Regional Sales Manager

The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to help drive continued growth across the region.
This is a relationship-led sales role focused on maintaining and developing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working closely with contractors, surveyors, and property professionals, you will play a key role in promoting Sharmans' solutions and delivering regional sales targets.
Ideally, you will be based in the North of England and be comfortable travelling throughout your territory.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver regional sales targets in line with business growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing contractors, specifiers, and key customers.
- Identify, generate, and convert new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities using the company's CRM system.
- Deliver CPD presentations to surveyors and other specification influencers.
- Conduct roof condition surveys and provide professional reports and recommendations.
- Promote and confidently communicate the benefits of Sharmans products and services.
- Work collaboratively with technical, marketing, customer service, and administration teams.
- Support marketing initiatives and regional business development campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade events, and networking opportunities.
- Utilise social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to support brand awareness and business development activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company procedures.

What We're Looking For
- Proven success in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong track record of generating and securing new business opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer management skills.
- Commercial awareness with strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and working towards targets.
- Highly motivated, organised, and customer focused.
- Strong administration and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working at height and accessing industrial and commercial roofs (full training provided).
- Experience within the industrial or commercial roofing, construction, or refurbishment sectors.
- Understanding of specification sales and contractor-led sales models.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
