Regional Sales Manager – North West

MacGregor Black are partnering with a growing and ambitious Drinks distribution business to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to drive their On-Trade presence across Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding North West.
This permanent role is field-based with a strong focus on new business, working across Independent Free Trade and regional On-Trade groups, while developing and growing an existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business across the North West On-Trade, identifying and converting new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with independent operators and regional groups, typically operating 3 to 5 sites.
- Secure new distribution, menu listings and increased visibility across the portfolio.
- Plan and execute activations that build brand awareness and drive rate of sale.
- Develop existing accounts through regular contact, commercial planning and identifying opportunities for further growth.
- Maintain a strong level of activity across the territory, building and managing a healthy new-business pipeline.
- Represent the portfolio confidently with customers, using strong spirits and category knowledge to create opportunities.
- Work autonomously across the region while contributing to wider commercial objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous sales experience within drinks, ideally within spirits and the On-Trade.
- Strong knowledge of the Manchester, Liverpool and wider North West hospitality scene.
- Experience working with Independent Free Trade and/or regional On-Trade groups.
- Demonstrable experience winning new accounts, listings and distribution.
- Comfortable delivering activations and building brands at outlet level.
- Entrepreneurial, driven and commercially minded with a proactive approach to new business.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to operate independently in a field-based environment.

Salary & Benefits
- £38,000 – £42,000 base salary
- Car allowance
- KPI-led bonus
