Company Description SolidCAM UK Ltd is the exclusive reseller for SolidCAM, InventorCAM and SolidCAM for SolidEdge across the UK and Ireland, providing advanced CAD/CAM solutions for manufacturing. As the regional arm of SolidCAM, a leader in integrated CAM software, the company supports a wide range of manufacturing businesses in optimizing their CNC machining processes. SolidCAM UK focuses on delivering high-quality software, training, and technical support that help customers increase productivity and efficiency. Team members work closely with innovative manufacturers, giving them exposure to cutting-edge technologies and diverse industrial applications.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Regional Sales Manager role based in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for SolidCAM solutions within an assigned territory, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing long-term customer relationships.

  • Prospecting and qualifying leads
  • Conducting on-site and virtual product demonstrations
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating commercial terms
  • Collaborating with technical and marketing teams
  • Attending industry events and customer meetings
  • Providing feedback on market trends
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and CRM records to achieve and exceed sales targets

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within CAD/CAM, CNC machining, or industrial software environments.
  • Strong skills in territory management, pipeline development, and account relationship management.
  • Ability to conduct structured product presentations and demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC programming, or engineering workflows is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, organizing on-site visits, and traveling across the region as needed.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software for reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
  • Relevant educational background in engineering, manufacturing, or business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to regional growth strategies.
