We are currently seeking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to join the Executive Aviation team. This role will be based in the UK (Home Office Based) or at one of our European offices (Hybrid), with regular business travel across the assigned region as required. This is an exciting opportunity to excel your career in one of the key positions of an aircraft manufacturer.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for Embraer Executive aircraft sales within an assigned region. You manage, coordinate, monitor and control regional sales Leads, Suspects, Prospects, Opportunities, and campaigns within the assigned territory, currently expected to cover UK & Nordics. The assigned region may be reviewed and adjusted by the company from time to time in line with business needs. The RSM will be assigned specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely (SMART) objectives for maintaining a pipeline of prospective customers, creating and closing deals.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and implement a selling strategy for each regional sales campaign.
- Develops and maintains customer, industry professional, industry influencer, and peer relationships.
- Routinely achieves assigned SMART objectives.
- Participates in controlling and managing assigned aircraft demonstrations and travel and entertainment budgets.
- Coordinates the regional market events plan with the Marketing team.
- Aligns with relevant internal stakeholders in the global Embraer organization.
- Complies with company and department norms, policies, directives, and procedures.
- Guarantees reliability, quality, and timeliness of information.
- Suggests improvements to sales processes and procedures.
- Honors and protects confidential and proprietary documents and information.

PROFILE OF THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably but not limited to Engineering, Aviation, Aerospace, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
- 5+ years of sales experience with demonstrated success in the general or executive aircraft industry.
- Comprehension and understanding of broad practices associated within the field assigned.
- Applies these understandings in the completion of moderately complex work assignments.
- Must possess a complete understanding of operational applications for all classifications of executive aircraft.
- Must possess a complete understanding of fixed, operating, and capital costs associated with purchasing and selling, owning and operating executive aircraft.
- Must possess a complete understanding of the basic fundamentals of sales and finance.
- Must possess a complete understanding of Embraer and competitors’ products and services.
- Planning and analysis capabilities, business player, adaptable and resilient, exhibits self-control, ability to motivate people, responsible, organized, self-starter, assertive, helpful and a team player.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Builds and maintains interpersonal business relationships.
- Teambuilding, problem solving and time management skills.
- Must be adaptable and able to multi-task.
- Able to work independently and remotely.
- Sales & Marketing techniques, commercial proposals techniques, negotiation/presentation techniques.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is a must. Other language proficiency would be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office, Internet Explorer and SalesForce.com.
- Open minded, with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and spoken, with ability to communicate to all levels of an organization.
- Open for business travel within the designated region (Between 50% and 75%)
