Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, the office is based in Doncaster, this role will be a hybrid, but you will be required to come into the office when not visiting prospects at least 2 days per week. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth for connected vehicle and telematics solutions across an assigned region. This role includes:

- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closing
- Developing strong relationships with fleet operators and key decision-makers

The Regional Sales Manager will conduct in-person client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits, while collaborating with internal technical and operations teams to design tailored solutions and ensure smooth implementation. Daily activities also involve:
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline
- Preparing proposals and presentations
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Providing regular performance reporting to leadership
The role requires a proactive approach to territory management, frequent travel within the region, and a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in regional or field sales, preferably in telematics, fleet management, vehicle technology, or related B2B solutions.
- Strong skills in lead generation (Hunter), pipeline management, consultative selling, and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products such as telematics platforms, video solutions, and connected vehicle systems in clear, practical terms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
- Proven capability in hunting for new business, account management, and using CRM tools to track opportunities and sales performance.
- Comfort working on-site and in the field, including travel within the UK region, visits to customer premises, and attendance at industry events or trade shows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to shape sales strategies and customer solutions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical, operations, and customer support teams.
