About the Role

At Hambaker Pipelines, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Commercial Sales Team, helping to deliver sustainable growth, exceptional customer solutions, and long-term partnerships within the Utilities and Infrastructure sectors. This is a highly influential role where you’ll play a key part in shaping our regional strategy, building strong customer relationships, and supporting critical national infrastructure.

Hambaker Pipelines is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, a worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction. We play a vital role in maintaining and improving the nation’s water and wastewater networks bringing clean water to homes, supporting effective wastewater management, reducing flood risk, protecting the environment, and strengthening critical infrastructure across the UK & Ireland.

Role Details

This is a remote role with regular travel across the Midlands and northern regions of England, up towards but not including Scotland, to meet customers, visit sites, and build strong regional relationships.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience and success in a sales role, ideally within Utilities, Infrastructure, or a technical field
  • Self-motivated, driven, and agile, willing to go the extra mile
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Customer-focused, able to build relationships, identify opportunities, and fulfil client needs
  • Willing and able to travel frequently within the region, occasionally nationally

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting and developing existing Hambaker Pipelines customers while identifying new opportunities to deliver sales growth
  • Managing major regional projects, and negotiating to meet sales revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Engaging directly with key contractors, distributors, and Tier 2 & 3 utility partners
  • Acting as the front-line contact for customers, ensuring rapid responses to enquiries, quotations, and technical support
  • Planning and organising your regional activity to maximise sales and build lasting customer relationships
