We’re working with a highly established and respected business within the hospitality and drinks sector, who are looking for an exceptional Regional Sales Manager to lead one of their most strategically important regions across Scotland.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing territory, following a planned leadership transition, with the autonomy and platform to build on its success and take performance to the next level.

Covering the whole of Scotland, you’ll lead from the front - setting the commercial strategy, developing talent, driving profitable growth, and building a culture where high performance becomes the standard.

This is a senior leadership position that combines strategic thinking, commercial accountability and inspirational people leadership. You’ll have responsibility for a team of 11, regional P&L ownership and the opportunity to make a genuine impact across a strategically important market.

If you’re an experienced FMCG sales leader who knows how to deliver commercial results while developing high-performing teams, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.

The Role

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 11 sales professionals, including Sales Development Managers and a New Business Manager
  • Create and embed a high-performance culture focused on commercial excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide structured coaching, 1-2-1 development, and regular field-based support to maximise individual and team performance
  • Take full ownership of the regional P&L, ensuring strong financial management and delivery against budget and profit targets
  • Develop and execute a clear regional commercial plan aligned with wider business strategy
  • Drive sustainable volume growth, profitability, customer retention, and new business across the region
  • Develop an effective regional call strategy to maximise customer engagement and sales performance
  • Ensure account retention plans and new business targets are consistently achieved
  • Identify and implement innovative opportunities to grow own-brand volume and overall regional profitability
  • Support the team in identifying, securing, and retaining strategically important and sustainably profitable customer accounts
  • Coach and empower the New Business Manager to secure high-value new business opportunities
  • Maximise commercial opportunities across the region, including investment and value-led propositions
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to improve cost to serve, supply chain effectiveness, and customer experience
  • Lead the execution of regional brand strategies and ensure all commercial opportunities are identified and delivered
  • Ensure the team remains informed, engaged, and equipped to respond to emerging market trends
  • Act as a senior commercial leader within the business, representing the region and driving a culture of continuous improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
