Department Overview

The Sales team at CRFS Cambridge drives global growth by delivering industry-leading spectrum monitoring and electronic warfare solutions to defence, regulatory, and security agencies. They bridge the gap between complex RF engineering and client requirements, ensuring partners have the actionable intelligence needed to manage and secure the spectrum.

Job Description

As the Sales Manager for APAC, you will be the lead for CRFS in one of the worlds most critical and diverse defence markets. You will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities within your area of responsibility, defence and adjacent markets, plus various internal security agencies, ensuring our RFeye ecosystem is the standard for regional signals intelligence and border security:

  • Design and execute a multi-year growth strategy for your APAC region
  • Align CRFS technology with the specific tactical needs of the regional Armed Forces, focusing on border protection, anti-drone (C-UAS) operations, and APAC interoperability.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert in-region. You will deliver technical briefings on signal processing and EW to regional technical leads, program managers, and military commanders.
  • Lead the response to complex regional public tenders. You will navigate the country and region Public Procurement Law and offset requirements, moving deals from RFI stage to final contract signature.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with local and regional defence integrators and distributors to extend CRFS’s reach across the APAC region.
  • Act as the strategic link between end-users and our UK-based engineering teams to ensure our product roadmap reflects the unique challenges of the Asia Pacific region.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in high-end technical sales or business development within the Defence, Aerospace, or Electronic Warfare sectors in the APAC region.
  • Clearance: Must hold (or be eligible for) National Security Clearance (Secret or higher). Citizenship of an APAC country is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: A strong grasp of RF principles, SIGINT, or Spectrum Management. You should be comfortable explaining why a 100MHz real-time bandwidth matters to a tactical commander.
  • The "Rolodex": An established network within the regions defence and security industry including intimacy with a number of military commands from at least 3 countries.
  • Language: Good level of English and native in regional languages.
