Job Title: Manager - Advisory Team
Are you a natural leader with a passion for developing people and driving performance? A rapidly expanding IFA firm is seeking a Manager to lead and nurture its advisory team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact, guiding both field-based and Pathfinder advisers to deliver exceptional, goals-based financial planning.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the advisory team, ensuring high-quality advice and strong commercial performance.
- Embed cashflow forecasting in the advice process, helping clients achieve their financial goals.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring advisers are supported and motivated.
- Drive commercial performance by addressing genuine client needs, not just chasing targets.
- Manage adviser capacity to balance client demand and adviser workload.
- Develop bespoke personal development plans for each adviser.
- Foster a strong team culture, ensuring advisers feel backed and valued.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and use performance data to tailor coaching and support.

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a natural ability to coach and develop individuals.
- Strong experience in goals-based financial planning and cashflow forecasting.
- Proven track record in management or leadership roles, with the ability to motivate and achieve results.
- Commercial acumen, with a focus on meeting client needs rather than applying sales pressure.
- Proficiency in using performance data to manage capacity and track delivery.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Alignment with company values and enthusiasm for a leader-leader approach.
- Based in the Northwest of England.

Desirable:
- Adviser experience and/or Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
- Experience in a growing or acquisitive business.
- Experience in a regulated supervisory role.
