Regional Sales Manager - South London
Foodservice Wholesale | Chilled & Frozen Foods | Field Based
We are recruiting an experienced Regional Sales Manager to grow an established chilled and frozen food portfolio across South London, with a particular focus on the foodservice wholesale and cash & carry channel.
This is a hands-on business development role combining wholesale account management with new business development. You will build relationships with wholesalers and cash & carries, increase product distribution and create demand amongst the restaurants, takeaways, QSRs, and independent foodservice operators they supply.
The model is simple: develop the wholesaler, create demand with the end user, and drive more product through the wholesale channel.
What you'll be doing
- Develop new business with foodservice wholesalers and cash & carries across South London
- Build and grow relationships with existing wholesale customers
- Increase listings, distribution, and sales of chilled and frozen poultry, seafood, and foodservice products
- Prospect and open new wholesale accounts across your territory
- Work directly with restaurants, takeaways, QSRs, and independent foodservice operators to generate product demand
- Convert end-user opportunities into additional sales through their existing wholesalers
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, tastings, and commercial discussions
- Identify new opportunities, competitor activity, and market trends across the London foodservice sector
- Manage your own territory, pipeline, and customer relationships with a strong focus on sustainable sales growth

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
