Area Sales Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to drive new business growth while building strong customer relationships as the company expands across the UK. The company has had recent and substantial investment which is helping to drive the growth and offers a massive opportunity for the right individual to drive the business forward. They are looking for a proven sales professional with a hunter mindset, a passion for winning new business and the drive to grow customer relationships.
The Role
The main parts of the role include:
- Drive sales and rental revenue against clear targets and build and execute a regional customer and prospecting strategy
- Develop new business opportunities across sector and geography, including food, transport, health, and logistics sectors
- Grow and retain existing customer accounts with year-on-year revenue targets and increase share of wallet
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales Support, Telesales, and Marketing teams to deliver the right solutions for customers
- Present innovative tailored chilled storage solutions alongside our engineering experts and develop solutions that meet technical requirements
- Win back previous customers and develop new business
- Follow up leads, enquiries, and RFQs and convert them into sales
- Understand competitor activity and develop strategies to win market share
- Have real ownership of your region with extensive customer engagement on the road.

- Commercially driven salesperson who enjoys finding new opportunities.
- Must have a good understanding of the chiller or cold storage market, with experience across food, transport, logistics, or welfare units
- Have experience of solution selling and a strong B2B sales background
- Ability to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
- Proven record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets
- Full product training will be given as well as continuous support
