Role Purpose

At inspireski, we create unforgettable ski experiences for schools across the UK and beyond. As our Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering exceptional service to schools, governing bodies and key stakeholders.

Leading sales activity across your region, you will be responsible for securing new business, growing existing accounts, delivering engaging presentations and parents' evenings, and representing inspireski at conferences, exhibitions and industry events. Working closely with internal teams, you will contribute to the delivery of the annual sales plan, support tender submissions, and help shape future product development through customer and market insight.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Deliver the regional sales strategy and contribute towards achieving annual sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities within schools, clubs and sporting organisations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to proposal submission and contract completion.
  • Lead sales presentations, parents' evenings and customer meetings both virtually and in person.
  • Attend conferences, exhibitions, networking events and industry functions to promote inspireski and generate new opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage tender submissions, proposals, presentations and supporting sales documentation.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support future product development and commercial strategy.

Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and repeat business.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities across your account portfolio through proactive sales and relationship management.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements whilst ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular customer reviews and identify opportunities for service enhancement and growth.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with schools, governing bodies, educational groups and third-party suppliers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the sales journey.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure successful programme delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to support business growth and service excellence.

Customer Service & Brand Representation

  • Champion outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Ensure clients receive regular communication and support throughout the sales and operational process.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for inspireski, promoting company values and maintaining high professional standards.
  • Support post-trip reviews and customer feedback initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Product Expertise

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of inspireski's products, destinations and services.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and market developments.
  • Research and evaluate new products, destinations and commercial opportunities.
  • Share product knowledge and best practice across the wider business.

Essential

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, field sales or account management.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience preparing proposals, tenders and sales documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable

  • Experience within ski travel, educational travel or the wider travel industry.
  • Knowledge of schools, educational organisations or governing bodies.
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and tender submissions.
  • Existing network within the education or travel sectors.
