Regional Sales Manager – South UK
Location: Field-based – South UK (covering London, South East, South West, East of England and South Wales)

Our marketing and in-house lead generation ensures we are first to mind in our chosen markets augmenting our brand with a strong market presence which pivots on our heritage but also our ability to be innovative. As demand for these solutions continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across the South of the UK.
The Opportunity
This role sits within our Commercial Team and is business-critical with responsibility for developing top-down NHS and IHP relationships, identifying new opportunities, and converting complex healthcare solutions into long-term commercial partnerships.
As Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for managing one of our key territories, developing a sustainable sales pipeline and strong client relationships that support the client to create solutions to solve their estate and service issues through the effective utilisation of our market-leading surgical and endoscopy fleet with a range of valuable service solutions from our in-house professional services teams.

Working closely with senior NHS stakeholders, you'll position Vanguard as the trusted partner for healthcare solutions while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and develop the territory using partners as necessary
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive sales plan across the territory.
- Identify, qualify and convert new NHS and healthcare opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, procurement teams and key decision-makers.
- Develop a robust five-year pipeline while delivering against annual revenue targets.
- Maximise fleet utilisation through proactive opportunity management.
- Lead complex solution-based sales opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award.
- Collaborate with internal commercial, operational and clinical teams to develop winning solutions.
- Support procurement and framework opportunities, including direct awards and tender submissions.
- Work with commercial marketing to develop territory specific planning representing Vanguard at industry events and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a confident, commercially driven sales professional who understands the NHS and healthcare landscape and enjoys building trusted customer relationships. Based in the territory we are particularly interested in candidates who have:

- Experience selling complex solutions into the NHS or healthcare sector.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience engaging and influencing C-suite and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop long-term strategic customer relationships.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Experience within healthcare specifically clinical services, medical technology or related sectors.
