HID’s Reader Business Unit is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to support the development of the Manufacturing & Industrial vertical across Europe, Middle East and Africa within the Asset and Item Readers segment.
This role focuses on driving growth through a combination of direct customer engagement and partner-led execution, working closely with system integrators, OEMs and solution providers.
Success in this position requires a commercially driven and operationally credible sales professional with experience in Manufacturing & Industrial environments, and the ability to engage in operationally critical manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain use cases, with a strong understanding of identification, tracking, traceability, and asset visibility requirements.
The Regional Sales Manager will support the execution of the EMEA go-to-market strategy, build pipeline across priority use cases, and contribute to the development of scalable routes to market across applications such as asset tracking, worker safety, site logistics and infrastructure monitoring.
This role requires a hands-on, execution-focused individual contributor, capable of managing opportunities, supporting partners and converting pipeline into revenue outcomes.

As our Regional Sales Manager, Manufacturing & Industrial, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Own and drive the Manufacturing and Industrial vertical sales strategy across EMEA, aligned with overall BU growth objectives.
- Build, develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities across priority use cases such as asset tracking, worker safety, site logistics and infrastructure visibility.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to support solution-driven opportunities and drive deal progression.
- Develop and support a partner ecosystem across EMEA, including system integrators, OEMs and ISVs.
- Contribute to the development of routes to market, supporting both partner-led execution and direct sales activities.
- Manage sales cycles from discovery through to proposal and closure, with support from senior stakeholders where required.
- Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy across all opportunities.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to support solution positioning and market adoption.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitive activity to support ongoing refinement of the vertical approach.
- Represent HID in customer engagements, partner interactions and industry events within the Manufacturing & Industrial space.

Education/ Or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
- Proven experience selling technology solutions into manufacturing, industrial, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments, with knowledge of RFID, industrial identification, traceability, asset visibility, automation, and digital transformation initiatives considered a strong advantage.
- 5–8+ years of experience in sales or business development within Manufacturing & Industrial markets, or market adjacencies.
- Proven track record of driving new business and achieving growth targets in solution-based sales environments.
- Experience with RFID (HF and UHF) and industrial AIDC solutions is a strong advantage.
- Experience selling integrated solutions, combining hardware, software and services into operational workflows.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor, managing opportunities from discovery through to close within a defined vertical.
- Experience working with or supporting partner ecosystems, including system integrators, OEMs and technology partners.
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders, including operations, engineering, IT and procurement functions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, and industrial workflows, including asset tracking, inventory management, production traceability, warehouse operations, and business-critical identification technologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing teams.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in evolving and sometimes ambiguous environments.
