Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, home-based role covering the Midlands Region. This position is responsible for managing and growing relationships with regional customers across Maypole’s key markets, including towing, trailer, automotive aftermarket, agricultural, and marine sectors. Day-to-day tasks include visiting and supporting customers, identifying new business opportunities, presenting product ranges, negotiating pricing and terms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and high service standards. The Regional Sales Manager will monitor sales performance, prepare reports and forecasts, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs. The role also involves attending trade events as needed and representing the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in regional or field-based account management and Sales, preferably within automotive, towing, trailer, or related industries.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop new business and retain existing customers.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical product information clearly.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities, with experience managing a territory, scheduling customer visits, and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfortable with MS Office applications, and basic data analysis to track performance and prepare reports.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
- Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse, customer service, and product teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- Previous experience in B2B sales or distribution and a strong customer-service mindset; knowledge of towing and trailer products is an advantage.
