Regional Sales Manager – UK & Ireland
We’re working with a leading global food ingredients business to appoint a Regional Sales Manager covering the UK & Ireland.
This is a senior, home-based commercial role with responsibility for developing the region across key food and beverage customers, while also working closely with established distribution partners to identify and develop new opportunities.
It’s an individual contributor position rather than a people-management role, offering plenty of autonomy over how the territory is developed and grown.
The role will involve:
- Managing and developing key customer relationships across the UK & Ireland
- Identifying new business and growth opportunities across food and beverage markets
- Working closely with distribution partners to develop pipeline and increase market penetration
- Building relationships across commercial, technical and procurement stakeholders
- Developing territory plans and turning market opportunities into sustainable revenue
- Working collaboratively with regional and international colleagues

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
