Role Description
In this field-based Regional Sales Management role, you will open up new territory across the region by forging trusted, long-term relationships with farmers, identifying commercial opportunities, and delivering strong sales growth. You will lead, develop, and mentor a team of Technical Sales Specialists, using agronomic expertise and market insight to unlock potential and accelerate performance across the territory.
With ownership of the regional P&L, sales strategy, and team capability, you will be central to building a high-performing, customer-led presence that creates real value and delivers measurable results for UK farmers through the placement of TIMAC AGRO solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the driving force behind developing new and expanding sales territories within Lincolnshire & South Yorkshire in a hands-on and field-based approach.
- Open new sales territories.
- Once a territory reaches a sufficient level of growth/sales, recruit and onboard a dedicated Technical Sales Specialist to take over ongoing development and maintain momentum and then repeat.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-performance.
- Provide on-field support to your team.
- Engage proactively with distributors, providing commercial and technical support while leveraging contacts and motivating them to actively grow sales and maximise market penetration.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
- Set and monitor team KPIs.
- Segment the region, providing a platform to build upon for sustained future success.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports, actively utilising data from the company CRM.
- Develop/train sales team in technical and commercial aspects.
- Partner with the Technical R&D Advisor to pinpoint high-value crops, oversee local trials, and leverage research insights to expand market potential for our product portfolio.

About You (Essential)
- Minimum degree qualified (agriculture-related or other closely related field).
- FACTS & BASIS Qualified.
- Experience preferably focused on root crops & vegetables.
- People management experience within farming/agriculture (three years minimum).
- Commercial experience.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A full UK Driving License. Requirement to be field-based and show presence within the region in a hands-on approach.
