Regional Sales Manager – Medical Devices

Location: Midlands, UK
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Our client is an international medical device manufacturer developing innovative therapies for critical care and specialist hospital environments.

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Regional Sales Manager to develop and expand market presence across the Midlands and North of England. This is a field-based role suited to a sales professional who enjoys building new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving commercial growth within the healthcare sector.

Working closely with both clinical and commercial stakeholders, you will support customers throughout the sales process, providing product expertise, training, and ongoing support. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing their territory independently, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to long-term market development.

The position involves extensive travel, with approximately 60-70% of time spent visiting hospitals, healthcare facilities, and customer sites across the territory.

Ideally, you will be based within the Midlands region, with easy access to key transport links.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and implement territory and account strategies to achieve revenue objectives and drive market growth.
  • Manage existing customer relationships while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, procurement, and commercial decision-makers across both public and private healthcare organisations.
  • Provide clinical and technical support during product utilisation within specialist procedural and critical care environments.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, training programmes, and on-site customer support.
  • Coordinate product availability and logistics to ensure smooth customer operations and high levels of service.
  • Support the introduction and adoption of new products and clinical solutions within the territory.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of clinical and technical knowledge, including the ability to understand and discuss relevant scientific and clinical evidence.
  • Ensure customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline information are accurately maintained within the CRM system.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
