Key Responsibilities

  • Own the sales quota, pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue growth for the UK and Ireland.
  • Lead the complete sales cycle for OptimaScan and DermEngine, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, ROI discussions, procurement, negotiation, closing, and implementation hand-off.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with dermatology key opinion leaders, early-adopter clinics, strategic accounts, and regional reference sites.
  • Develop new business opportunities while progressing prospects through a structured and consultative sales process.
  • Represent MetaOptima at relevant congresses, workshops, and selected MedTech events.
  • Maintain accurate, timely CRM records, pipeline data, and revenue forecasts.
  • Provide actionable market intelligence on competitors, pricing, procurement processes, reimbursement considerations, and evolving customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support a smooth transition from commercial close to customer implementation.

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven and highly accountable sales professional who is comfortable developing a market as well as closing individual opportunities. They can manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and communicate confidently with clinical, technical, operational, and commercial decision-makers.

They should demonstrate:

  • Experience in consultative B2B sales, ideally within MedTech, digital health, healthcare technology, dermatology, or medical imaging.
  • A record of managing a sales territory and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • The ability to build credible relationships with healthcare professionals and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience navigating procurement and other complex customer-approval processes.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to build persuasive business cases.
  • Disciplined CRM, pipeline-management, and forecasting practices.
  • The independence to manage a regional territory alongside the collaboration skills required to work across internal teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland region for customer meetings, partner activity, congresses, and industry events.
