About the Role
Navien UK Ltd is seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in plumbing and heating sales. This field-based role involves promoting and selling our high-quality range of domestic heating systems, including gas and oil boilers, heat pumps, and water heaters.
Duties
- Responsible for managing existing relationships and developing new business opportunities with plumbing merchants and installers, driving sales growth in your region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with installers, merchants, and key industry stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand Navien’s market presence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer requirements and recommending tailored solutions.
- Act as the link between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
- Proactively address and resolve customer concerns to build long-term trust.
- Generate new leads, enquiries, and sales, converting them into long-term business relationships.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking performance against key metrics.
- Optimise the use of promotions and discounts to drive sales while maintaining profitability.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role within the plumbing and heating industry.
- Background in manufacturing sales is highly desirable, with knowledge of plumbing & heating industry distribution channels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and support a sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of domestic gas and oil boilers.
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently to achieve targets.
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding pricing strategies and industry agreements.
- Ability to create and implement sales initiatives and incentives to improve regional performance.
- Experience working with plumbing merchants, installers, local authorities, and social housing organisations is advantageous.
