Play a key role in expanding our position in the dairy farming market across the West of England and Wales.
Supported by our existing UK team and Biolectric’s Belgian headquarters, your focus is clear: meet dairy farmers, identify the right farms, build relationships and convert opportunities into signed contracts.
Key responsibilities
Active field sales & customer engagement
- Spend most of your time out on farms, proactively visiting 15+ dairy farms per week.
- Use our strong existing lead database while continuously developing your own network and opportunities.
- Quickly assess whether a farm is a good fit for Biolectric technology based on its herd, manure management, energy use and farm set-up.
- Engage directly with dairy farmers, understand their business and explain clearly how on-farm anaerobic digestion could work for them.
- Build relationships from the first conversation through to a signed contract.
- Maintain momentum throughout the sales process and actively follow up opportunities.
- Be comfortable dropping in on a farm when you are nearby, introducing yourself and the technology, and securing a proper follow-up meeting.
- Build long-term relationships with farmers, advisers and other relevant contacts in the dairy sector.
Events & network development
- Organise and support open farm days, customer visits and agricultural shows to demonstrate our technology in practice.
- Build a strong network across the dairy farming community in the West of England and Wales.
- Generate new opportunities through referrals, existing customers and your agricultural network.
- Educate farmers about the benefits of small-scale, on-farm anaerobic digestion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Biolectric is different
A simple concept built around manure
Our technology is designed around the digestion of fresh manure directly on the farm. Unlike many traditional biogas projects, our concept does not depend on energy crops such as maize or on transporting feedstock to the farm.
Lower environmental impact
By capturing methane from manure and converting it into renewable energy, dairy farms can reduce their environmental footprint while making productive use of a resource already available on the farm.
Highly automated and easy to operate
Biolectric plants are highly automated and designed specifically for dairy farmers. This keeps the farmer’s daily involvement low and avoids the operational complexity typically associated with larger anaerobic digestion plants.

A proven farm-scale solution
Rather than designing a new biogas project from scratch for every farm, Biolectric offers a standardised and scalable solution developed specifically for dairy farms. This makes projects easier to understand, operate and replicate.
