Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity within our UK sales team for a Regional Sales Manager covering the East Midlands. This is a full-time, field-based role on the road across the region, managing and growing a portfolio of independent optical practices and key accounts and driving sales performance across our brand collections. Day-to-day activities include visiting customers, presenting new collections, negotiating pricing and terms, monitoring sales performance and implementing regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives. You will work closely with internal teams on forecasting, product feedback and promotional activity, while maintaining accurate CRM records and sales reports. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting customers with training and merchandising, and representing Eyespace at trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience

- Relevant experience in optics, ideally in optical sales, though practice-based experience will also be considered
- Proven experience in regional or territory sales management, ideally within eyewear, optical or related consumer goods sectors
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and decision-makers
- A self-motivated, results-driven approach, with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets, analyse performance data and translate insights into action plans
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, both in person and via digital channels
- Comfortable travelling regularly across the East Midlands and surrounding areas
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a focus on planning routes, managing schedules and prioritising opportunities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams such as product, marketing and customer service
