Department: Client Sales
Location: London, UK
Description
The Regional Sales VP for EMEA Emerging Countries hunts for new logo opportunities in markets that are on the cusp of utility sector transformation, where the absence of strong local competition creates attractive entry opportunities for Gentrack. These markets are characterised by regulatory change, smart meter rollouts, and the need for modern billing infrastructure. The role leverages Gentrack's Australian and UK track records as proof points and is expected to generate £1.5M+ ARR from Emerging Markets by FY28.
Your Key Responsibilities
Market Selection & Entry:
- Maintain and refine the target market map for EMEA Emerging Countries.
- Assess and prioritise opportunities based on market size, competitive landscape and deal replication potential.
- Drive market entry in selected geographies in sequence.
Pipeline Development:
- Identify, qualify and pursue new logo opportunities in target emerging markets.
- Build senior relationships with target prospects, leveraging Gentrack's track record.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification to contract signature.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
