About SAEL
SAEL is building the next generation of Safeguarding Continuity. Our secure platform helps schools, nurseries, pre-schools, childminders and other childcare organisations maintain continuity of important safeguarding information as children move between settings.
We are expanding our presence across the UK and are looking for experienced, commercially minded Regional Self-Employed Sales Executives to develop SAEL's presence within defined regional sales areas.
The Opportunity
Each Sales Executive will be responsible for developing business within an allocated regional sales area, identifying prospective customers, building relationships with decision-makers and converting opportunities into paying SAEL customers.
This is an autonomous, self-employed opportunity. You will decide how, when and where you generate your business within your region, while SAEL provides the product, training, sales materials, demonstrations and commercial support.
We are looking for experienced sales professionals who are confident creating their own opportunities and who want their earning potential to reflect the business they generate.
Regional Sales Areas
SAEL will establish regional sales areas across the UK, with each Sales Executive allocated a primary territory to develop.
Regional areas may include a combination of counties or other defined geographic areas depending on market size and demand.
Your role is to build SAEL's presence within your allocated region and develop relationships with organisations operating there.
Regional allocation provides clear focus and account ownership while giving you the freedom to develop your market in the way that works best for you.
Strategic national opportunities, existing SAEL relationships, inbound opportunities and larger multi-regional organisations may be managed separately by SAEL.
Commission
You will receive:
- 30% commission on the first-year subscription value of every new customer you personally source and close
- 10% recurring commission on qualifying subscription renewals
There is:
- No commission cap
- No limit on the number of customers you can sign
Our pricing varies by organisation type and size, creating opportunities ranging from individual settings through to substantial multi-site agreements.
For example:
- £550 annual subscription → £165 commission
- £895 annual subscription → £268.50 commission
- £1,495 annual subscription → £448.50 commission

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A larger agreement covering multiple settings, such as a MAT, academy trust, nursery group, childcare group or childminder agency, can generate thousands of pounds in commission from a single deal.
These are representative pricing bands rather than fixed limits. Actual contract values may vary according to organisation size, structure and requirements.
