About the Role
Are you an experienced inventory professional who thrives on driving stock accuracy across multiple locations? Do you enjoy using data, systems and operational insight to solve complex stock challenges? Are you looking for a role where you can influence processes and standards across an entire distribution network?
Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Regional Stock Manager to join our SGN operation, based at Rockingham, Corby. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, where you'll take ownership of stock accuracy and inventory integrity across both the Rockingham distribution centre and a network of 12 depots across the South.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a growing operation, acting as the central point of expertise for stock management across multiple locations while driving consistency, compliance and continuous improvement.

We’re offering a salary of £34,000 per annum, plus 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), a company pension scheme, and access to an employee discount platform covering retail, tech, travel, and more. What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Take ownership of stock accuracy and inventory integrity across the Rockingham site and a network of 12 regional depots, ensuring robust controls and consistent standards are maintained
- Act as the central point of contact for stock-related queries, investigations and escalations, working collaboratively with depot teams to resolve issues and minimise stock discrepancies
- Analyse stock performance, conduct audits and investigate reconciliation variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
- Produce and present stock reports for internal stakeholders and customers, providing clear insights into inventory performance, risks and improvement opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the network, developing stock control processes, supporting SOP implementation and promoting best practice across all locations
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations within a fast-paced logistics environment
- Experience working across multiple locations or supporting regional operations, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships remotely
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and stock reconciliation processes, with the ability to analyse data and identify trends
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to driving improvements and resolving issues
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the network as required
