Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary
  • Hours: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing construction supply business seeking a Regional Store Sales Executive to take ownership of a thriving territory across the South Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, developing accounts and driving commercial performance. You'll be the face of the business within your region, working closely with trade stores, contractors, housebuilders, developers and construction professionals to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional service.

The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for growing revenue, increasing customer engagement and supporting the performance of trade stores throughout the region.

You'll manage a portfolio of existing customers whilst also identifying and developing new opportunities, ensuring every account reaches its full potential.

This is a highly visible role where you'll spend the majority of your time meeting customers, visiting sites, supporting store activity and strengthening relationships across your territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts
  • Build strong relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and proactive communication
  • Identify opportunities to increase spend, grow market share and win new business
  • Support regional trade stores in driving customer activity and achieving sales targets
  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings across the territory
  • Follow up enquiries, quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion rates
  • Analyse customer activity and identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline management
  • Work collaboratively with internal sales, business development and retention teams
  • Support customer events, promotions and regional sales initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales and account management experience
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience within construction, building materials, merchants, distributors or a related sector would be highly advantageous
  • Commercially minded with a track record of delivering growth
  • Self-motivated and organised, with strong time management skills
  • Ability to influence customers and build multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Comfortable working autonomously whilst remaining a strong team player
  • CRM experience and strong administrative discipline
  • Full UK driving licence
