Regional Surveyor - South Coast

Brief Description

We are looking to recruit a home-based Regional Surveyor to cover the following postcodes: BH, PO, SO, and SP to support our existing and increasing number of lending valuations within the area.

If you are fully qualified (AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS) with post-qualification experience and wish to join our growing national team, this may be the opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will join our existing (and expanding) in-house team by providing specialist property advice to the Group that includes mortgage valuations and security assessments of residential investment properties in support of the Group’s buy-to-let business and other functions.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around Portsmouth or Southampton.

Purpose of the Role

  • Provide high quality professional advice recognising that the Regional Surveyor is the face of the Group.
  • Comply with RICS regulations and all other requirements.

  • Provide Market Reports and such information that is requested to allow Group Strategy to be determined.
  • Undertake specific tasks that support other Group business lines including Development Finance and Due Diligence exercises.
  • Attend Head Office when requested to perform the Duty Surveyor role or for other purposes to include Regional Surveyor meetings and projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
