Technical Manager, Quality Manager, or Site Technical Lead - Regional Multi-site Leadership Post
If you are a Technical Manager, Quality Manager, or Site Technical Lead in the UK food manufacturing sector looking to take a step up to a regional, multi-site leadership post, this leading multi-site bakery manufacturing business might be the right move for you.
You would report directly to the Regional General Manager and lead the technical function across key Southern operational sites, partnering closely with site engineering and manufacturing leads to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the regional technical teams
- Oversee quality management systems
- Maintain food safety standards
- Manage pest control
- Lead customer and third-party audits
Objectives
- Champion continuous improvement across product quality and process efficiency
- Successfully land safe New Product Development (NPD) and Environmental Product Development (EPD) projects across the region

Role Details
Location: Southern Region
Type: Full-time / Multi-site Regional Role
Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits & direct budgetary control
Requirements
- At least 5 years of food manufacturing technical leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of audit and retailer web systems (Hive, TQC, Evolve, SEDEX)
- Degree/HNC/HND in Food Science or equivalent
