Regional T.I.V Engineer (Level 1) | North London Based | Full Time | £28,700–£43,000 per annum
Our client is seeking a Regional T.I.V Engineer (Electrical Qualified Level 3 with 18th Edition) to join their team, covering an area ranging from North London and Luton to South Norfolk.
The Role
As a Regional T.I.V Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical reactive repairs, proactive general maintenance tasks and regular inspections and audits across an allocated number of retail stores within your dedicated region.
The role involves visiting retail properties to carry out scheduled repairs, electrical maintenance, legionella testing and general maintenance, working with store managers and the employee Project Team to ensure required works are completed and reported correctly.
You will be provided with a company van, tools and stock, which you will be responsible for managing. You will also provide daily reports to head office via the company's bespoke reporting tool.
The role is Monday to Friday, with a 45-hour working week. Your working day starts when you leave home and finishes when you return home. There is no weekend working or emergency call-outs.
Please note: You will cover an allocated regional area, and you must live within the area you will be covering. The role is suited to candidates based in North London and the surrounding areas, including E8, N17, IG8 and IG1.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail properties to carry out repairs and general handyman maintenance as scheduled
- Carry out basic electrical work, including emergency lighting testing and replacement, bulbs, fittings and replacing switches
- Carry out basic carpentry, including changing locks, handles and doors
- Carry out basic painting and decorating
- Carry out basic plumbing maintenance, including taps and cisterns
- Carry out basic handyman services
- Complete reactive and proactive repairs and maintenance as required
- Update jobs via the reporting portal, ensuring audits are thorough and good-quality pictures are taken
- Report major works that cannot be completed during reactive visits to the relevant Project Team
- Provide reports for jobs requiring quotations, including materials needed, time required and a description of the issue
- Liaise with store managers and staff to ensure required works are actioned and reported
- Manage van stock inventory and report all stock used via the bespoke reporting tool
- Provide daily reports to head office via the bespoke reporting tool

What We're Looking For
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Level 3 Electrical qualified with 18th Edition
- Experience completing trade-specific tasks such as carpentry, cabinet repairs, lock fitting, minor electrical repairs and replacements
- Excellent communication skills

What's In It For You
- £28,700–£31,500 per annum – Band 1
- £31,600–£34,600 per annum – Band 2 with London Weighting
- Up to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience
