Description:

R_358405 – Regional Underwriting Lead Asia and Pacific – Fast Track Team

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Portfolio Solutions Fast Track team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in London, Norwich, or Birmingham. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Regional Underwriting Lead is responsible for leading the Regional Underwriting Team and for owning the APAC region. The role focuses on building local market relationships, identifying opportunities to improve the Fast Track offering, and supporting the placement of complex or bespoke risks.

The role will help ensure that the Fast Track offering supports local placement needs where possible, including developing evolved authority levels, and shepherding nuanced cases through to binding.

The role works closely with regional placement teams, Account Manager teams, and other internal stakeholders to understand market nuances, identify areas for development in the Fast Track offering, and help shepherd large or complex risks through the placement process.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the Regional Underwriting Lead in delivering regional growth focused on Asia & Pacific.
  • Build strong relationships with regional placement teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify market nuances and opportunities that could improve Fast Track’s regional offering.
  • Support the handling of bespoke and complex placements, including shepherding larger risks through the process.
  • Work closely with Account Manager teams to identify and progress business opportunities.
  • Support initial client discussions through to placement completion for key risks.
  • Contribute to regional insight, pipeline development, and execution of growth priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
