DP World Regional WMS Superuser
DP World are recruiting for an experienced and commercially aware Regional WMS Superuser to join our European Operational Excellence team. This role acts as a key link between Operations, IT, and the Global WMS Centre of Excellence, supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of DP World's strategic WMS solutions across the region. The successful candidate will combine strong technical WMS expertise with a deep understanding of warehouse operations to deliver effective solutions across complex, multi-site environments.
How you will contribute
- Support the development and deployment of DP World's global WMS strategy across Europe, ensuring solutions are aligned with operational and customer requirements.
- Act as a regional WMS subject matter expert, providing functional expertise across strategic WMS platforms and advising Operations, IT, Solutions Design, Engineering, and Innovation teams.
- Assess warehouse processes and determine the most effective WMS solutions, identifying system gaps and developing practical solutions to address them.
- Support the replacement of legacy WMS platforms, helping sites and operations transition towards DP World's strategic WMS solutions.
- Lead and support WMS implementations across existing and new customer operations, ensuring system configuration, warehouse logic, master data, and processes are accurately defined.
- Define WMS system logic for areas such as warehouse zones, routing, workflows, and configuration requirements.
- Work closely with strategic customers and complex operations to understand requirements and align solutions with DP World's global WMS strategy.
- Act as a key interface between WMS, IT, Operations, and Automation teams, ensuring functional requirements are clearly understood and effectively delivered.
- Identify opportunities to improve WMS usage, processes, and functionality, challenging unnecessary system customisation and developing solutions using existing WMS capabilities.
- Coordinate testing of WMS releases, patches, and enhancements, ensuring changes are validated before deployment.
- Capture and communicate validated improvement opportunities to the Global WMS Centre of Excellence and contribute to the development of the WMS product roadmap.
- Provide first-line support and guidance on WMS issues, coordinating with IT and specialist teams where required.
- Support Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams with WMS expertise during customer and prospect meetings.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to operational teams to improve WMS adoption and process performance.
- Work with Business Intelligence, Launch, Business Process Improvement, IT, and other specialist teams to deliver system and process improvements.

What you will bring
- Significant experience working with WMS solutions within Contract Logistics or a similar warehouse environment.
- In-depth functional knowledge of strategic WMS platforms such as SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Infor, Mantis, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and how WMS solutions can be used to optimise operational performance.
- Proven experience delivering or supporting successful WMS implementations across complex or multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of WMS configuration, warehouse logic, master data, system testing, and process integration.
- Experience working across Operations and IT, with the ability to translate operational requirements into effective system solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify system and process gaps and develop practical solutions.
- Strong consultation, communication, and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to coach, train, and support operational teams and stakeholders across different locations.
- Strong commercial and customer focus, with experience supporting customer meetings, sales opportunities, or account management activities desirable.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across a regional environment.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally as required.
- Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages would be advantageous.
