Shropshire Council
We are seeking a Class 2F Registered Building Inspector to join our Building Control Team of 18 colleagues, within Planning and Development Services Directorate.
About the Role
To provide support to the delivery of the transformation programme in line with the Council’s vision, values, and strategic objectives. To support the Building Control Team in their daily duties, including the marketing and development of our Building Control and Energy services.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide, implement, and enforce the requirements of the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation in an effective and efficient manner, both in an office and site environment.
- To deal with a varied and heavy workload, ensuring that Statutory Requirements are met.

Profile of Successful Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced team person, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge to provide support and guidance to the team as we continue to grow and align with changes in legislation with the emergence of the Building Safety Regulator.
