🏗️ WE’RE HIRING | REGISTERED BUILDING INSPECTOR – CLASS 2D
📍 Location: London or Leeds / West Yorkshire
💼 Full-time / Contract | Hybrid & Site-Based Opportunities
We are looking for an experienced Registered Building Inspector (RBI) – Class 2D or above to join our growing Building Control team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out site inspections and plan assessments across a range of residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake building control inspections at various stages of construction.
- Review plans, drawings, and technical information for compliance.
- Identify and report non-compliant work and provide practical technical advice.
- Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports and maintain project records.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage your own caseload and inspection schedule.
- Ensure all work is undertaken within your registered competence and in accordance with BSR requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Building Regulations, Approved Documents, and relevant legislation.

Essential Requirements
- BSR Registered Building Inspector – Class 2D or above
- Previous Building Control / Building Inspection experience
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and construction methods
- Experience undertaking site inspections and plan assessments
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
