Delphi Care Solutions is working in partnership with an established care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a medium to large residential care service in Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys leading teams, improving services and delivering high standards of care.

The home has a dedicated staff team, a strong resident community and clear potential for further development. We're looking for a confident leader who can build on existing strengths, support staff performance and continue driving quality throughout the service.

The successful candidate will be given the autonomy to manage the home effectively, supported by a hands-on leadership team that values collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

The Role

You will be responsible for the overall management of the service, including:

  • Delivering a high-quality resident experience
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
  • Leading, supporting and developing the staff team
  • Managing recruitment, retention and workforce planning
  • Driving occupancy and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
  • Monitoring budgets and operational performance
  • Promoting a positive culture focused on quality, accountability and resident wellbeing
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvement and implementing change where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
