We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to lead our beautiful, purpose-built care community near Littlehampton. Someone who understands that outstanding care is about much more than compliance and regulation. It's about knowing people's stories, celebrating the little moments, supporting families through life's journeys, and creating a workplace where colleagues genuinely love coming to work.
WELCOME TO NORDEN HOUSE
Opened in 2024, Norden House has been thoughtfully designed around a household model of care. Rather than traditional corridors and large units, our home consists of welcoming households, each accommodating up to eight residents.
Each household has its own kitchen, lounge and dining space, where home-cooked meals, meaningful conversations and everyday moments take centre stage. Residents also enjoy access to a hair salon, holistic therapy room and our much-loved on-site tea shop, creating opportunities for connection, independence and enjoyment.
Norden House recently received a CQC rating of ‘good’ across all areas. This is a unique opportunity to build on this strong foundation and shape the next chapter of Norden House's story, as it establishes itself as one of the leading dementia care communities on the South Coast.

As the CQC Registered Manager, you'll hold overall accountability for the home's quality, compliance, culture and performance. Most importantly, you'll ensure every resident experiences the warmth, dignity and personalised support they deserve.

What You'll Be Doing
- Create a culture where kindness and quality go hand in hand
- Lead and inspire a passionate, multidisciplinary team
- Ensure residents receive safe, outstanding, person-centred care
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families and professionals
- Maintain excellent regulatory standards and compliance
- Bring our MAGIC Support Practice model to life
- Drive continuous improvement through creativity, learning and best practice
- Manage resources effectively to ensure long-term sustainability and growth
- Be highly visible within the home, leading by example and setting the tone for excellence every day

You Will Bring
- Significant leadership experience within care, health and / or social care services
- Experience managing regulated services and meeting CQC standards
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance and risk management
- Proven people leadership experience, including developing high-performing teams
- Financial and commercial awareness and successful track record
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional dementia care
Essential Requirements
- Eligibility to register with the CQC as a Registered Manager
- Demonstrable experience leading regulated care services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice
- Experience maintaining high quality and compliance standards
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Social Work qualification
- Leadership or management qualification or equivalent experience
